This 20 foot by 20 foot mural was commissioned by the Stanislaus Arts Council of Modesto, California in 2002. Sponsors included the Stanislaus United Way, the California Arts Council and others. I painted every detail of this mural by hand. The mural remained on the exterior wall of a commercial building located at the corner of I and 8th Streets in Modesto for close to 4 years until it was painted over by the owner of the building with no prior notice in December 2006.
