Garzas sobre el mar. med: 94x101x3 cm.
Relieve inspirado en un tapíz japonés del siglo XIX. Museo de artes decorativas de París.
Modernismo es el término con el que se designa a una corriente de renovación artística desarrollada a finales del siglo XIX y principios del XX. Se trata de crear una estética nueva, en la que predominan la inspiración en la naturaleza. Vemos en esta imagen (el tapíz original realizado con hilos de seda), una estética y composición especialmente refinada. En el fondo, el mar tiene movimiento, las olas salpican y las garzas forman un círculo.
