This bird, an egret, makes its way through the wetlands of Florida. The background creates motion and makes this composition more dynamic. This animal painting is different than the artist's other "whimsical" animals in that the bird is much smaller and doesn't fill the entire canvas, but it has its own sense of whimsy nevertheless.
