It sits on top of a small hill, designed and built by his own two hands, looking out over Woodzley like the eyes of nature, it's Ferald's beloved Hollow Log House . When Ferald first came to Woodzley when he was just a baby ferret. He grew up with the creative talent to build anything that he could draw on paper. One of the first things that he drew was a picture of a Hollow Log House, he knew that someday that picture would become his dream home--and with a little time and effort, it certainly has. Within this house, there's a living space fit for a ferret. There is a room for sleeping, a kitchen, a living room, a basement and much more. Ferald lives by himself, but he has plenty of friends and many things to do to keep him busy. He

loves taking care of his home, Ferald is pretty good at fixing almost anything around the house, even on top on top of the house. He also has a garden where he likes to grows lettuce. Perhaps when Ferald finds the time, maybe he'll even paint his house, but for now, he thinks it's perfect just the way it is.

On a quiet and clear day, you can hear the song of a whippoorwill echoing throughout Woodzley, from one end to the other. This particular morning brings a singing whippoorwill, who seems to have a song at the ready to ring in the new day. From all around, Ferald can hear little wings flapping, and he can hear the rhythm of chirping noises getting louder--he looks up but the sun blocks his view. Ferald doesn't need to see who it is, he has already heard this song before, and he knows who it is--so he stops dead in his tracks. A moment after, Birzy comes swooping down, KA-PLUNK!  Right on top of Ferald's head. Still chirping his song, Birzy looks down at Ferald, Ferald looks up at Birzy, they give each other a nod and together they continue on their way.

A tragedy has happened here tonight. There is evidence of it all over the ground. Pieces and bits of bark that once made up the walls of Ferald's beloved hollow log house is all that remains. Unbeknown to Ferald, while he was out and about, someone or something completely demolished his home. It is a sad time for Ferald indeed, he has nowhere to live, nowhere to go. " Who would do something like this !" he cried. He missed his hollow log house. Ferald sat in the same spot, day after day and night after night, on top of a small hill where his house once stood.

As the night came around once again, an anomaly shines bright like a shimmering diamond coming down from above. So bright is this light, that it looks as if it's the only star piercing through the dark. It's moving in closer and closer -- this is certainly no star.

After crying himself to sleep, Ferald is awakened by a bow-legged alien named Qwiby. A bit startled by the visitor, Ferald soon learn that his new celestial friend, has the power to make that which is broken whole again. The pieces and bits of bark that once made up his home, and was scattered about amongst the ground, began to piece themselves together. Ferald watched in awe as his house seem to repair itself right in front of his eyes. There stood his home in all of its whimsical detail. When Ferald turned to ask Qwiby how in the world did he do that...he was gone.

Tonight's the night when Ferald's fears are put to an unforgettable test. There is a Valley of Rotten Pumpkins just at the edge of Woodzley. Where Ferald on a dare ventures out across this obscure land, as his friends watch too scared to join him. These pumpkins have sat in this valley for most of their lives, they do not like visitors of any kind. This valley is a deserted wasteland of rotten hope and dead dreams, and it is the only place that they call home. Always are their gooey insides turning like a tainted bowl of stew, always are they detached from the world outside of their own.

It is said that they are unable to move...unable to cause any harm...but nothing is further from the truth. Together they hold a dark secret, and when this secret is set in motion, it is felt the world over. Ferald is the first to ever cross path with their hidden secret, which is caused by a chain reaction, when the wick on their stem begins to mysteriously light by itself. Ferald watches in horror as each candle mysteriously sparks a light from one pumpkin to the next. It is when all of the candles are lit, like a beacon of fear that cuts through the dark, they summon a creature from underneath the valley that is so massive, that the tree that you see before you, is really a single hair follicle on top of its head.

RUN FERALD RUN! Now the pumpkins are evil decorations on the head of this Halloween Beast, that is now chasing a tiny yellow spot moving as fast as he can to save his own life. There is hope yet, as the creature cannot leave the sphere of the valley, it returns to the ground from which it came. And what of Ferald, he has proven to his friends that he is not afraid of crossing the Valley of the Rotten Pumpkins.

It looks like it's going to be a busy day for Ferald. He's taking care of his little cousins Fee, Fi and Fo. Three soft bundles of joy dressed in diapers and suspenders. They seem to have Ferald's sense of curiosity, wonder and his knack for adventure. Ferald is pretty good with keeping them entertained. He has the whole day planned, from teaching them how to play with a Yo-Yo to watching him perform a sock puppet shows. Later on, he'll take them to see Mr. Wiggly or maybe let them sit in Pozzum's favorite tree. Fee likes to ride his sister Fo around in his red wagon, which was given to him by Ferald, who use to play with it when he was his age. Fi enjoys the puppet show or pulling on Ferald's tail. When the day comes to an end, the little ones say their goodbyes, Ferald gives them a kiss on their nose. He becomes a bit sad when they have to leave and so do they. Numzi Plume takes them aboard his massive back and takes them home. Ferald waves to them knowing that they'll be back again very soon.

A strange new friend on familiar grounds. Could it be that a baby lizard is hiding and waiting for some insects to wander by, ready to gobble them up with his long tongue. One would think, but he seems to have his reptilian eyes set on a bigger catch. Now Ferald may be a small fellow himself, but he's certainly not worried about this tiny might gobbling him up. It appears that every time Ferald takes a short cut to Mr. Wiggly's place, this little guy is waiting amongst the willow grove, then he pops out his long sticky tongue and grabs the first thing that moves. He's a whimsical sort, and it's hard to tell what he's saying, because his tongue for the most part, is always dangling outside of his mouth. And because of this, Ferald has to whirl and twirl himself out of a sticky situation. Running away from him doesn't help, he's pretty swift for a little guy, and that long tongue will usually catch one before the chase even starts. So what's a ferret to do about his little situation. Well, usually Ferald would point the baby lizard towards some ants or termites, but the baby lizard doesn't like them, in fact, he's actually quite scared of them. But in the end it all works itself out, because all the baby lizard wanted from Ferald was a hug.

Throughout the known galaxy there is a race of aliens, who have dedicated their life to studying the various emotions in other beings. For it is Qwiby who will venture to Earth to study the creatures of our planet. And he will start with a small being named Ferald. Qwiby is a young bow-legged alien, who is very much strange, gentle, curious and yet extremely powerful. When he sees someone in trouble he becomes a protective force unlike anything seen by Earthly eyes. The beings of this world are his next assignment. Qwiby's family once thought that he was too young to travel alone, to begin his first venture through space. But he has proven himself to be more than knowledgeable and he has his father's curiosity. His home world is a small planet named Fob-Wob. The race of travelers that make up Qwiby's world, need to feed off of other beings' emotions, this allows them to elevate themselves into become one with the known universe.

They are the oldest living creatures in Woodzley. In truth, these Pooters have lived within this realm before the first tree ever grew root on its arable land. An almost silent herd rarely seen by the other inhabitants who walk among them from above. They dwell deep in a pond that's old as Woodzley itself. Far from the noise that echoes throughout these parts of everyday life. In a rare event, just once a year, they gather at the shallow end of their Pooty Pond. With their poot dispensers held high, they let out a blast of greenish mist. This mist not only gives their pond its green waters, but is use to hide themselves and their eggs from prying eyes. There is nothing toxic about their blast, but it does give off a very distinct (or foul) scent, that you can smell from the other side of Woodzley. Soon after their is a complete calm within their waters, not even a small wave to be found. It is at this time, they can become very aggressive towards anyone who breaks the calmness of their Pooty Pond. The slightest ripple from the legs of a fly can be felt by their sensitive and acute poot dispensers. Enter a certain ferret who likes to skip rocks across the water...and you have a story just waiting to be told.

There's a tree that sits in the middle of Woodzley. It's not a very wide tree nor is it very tall. It doesn't even have many leaves on it and it's kind of small. But none of that really matters to Pozzum, she loves it just the same. There's even a little mailbox beside it that bears her very name. Not a day goes by, when she doesn't smile, at someone passing by.  She enjoys spending time, watching the clouds intertwine, it brings a twinkle to her eyes. Just hanging around, with her feet off the ground, and looking at the world turned upside down. In all of its many splendors, Pozzum's favorite tree always gives her something fond to remember. Even when her branches begins to shake, from the bad times from her pass mistakes, she still manage to crack a smile somehow. It's more than likely, if she's smiling slightly, she's probably waiting for Ferald to come along any minute now.

Look carefully at the small yellow dot just above the head of this gigantic creature, that's Ferald, swimming with a majestic blue whale named Numzi Plume. Ferald is a pretty good swimmer, but his knack for open waters is nothing compared to the one who swims before him. These two have known each other since Ferald was a very young ferret. Once in troubled times, Numzi Plume saved Ferald's life from the very water that contains them. Their friendship remains strong, like the mighty fluke that propels Numzi Plume through the water from sea to shimmering sea.

Eye to eye, the water is crystal clear, and two familiar faces hold each others attention, as they both hold their breath. A slight nod of Ferald's head, a memorable wink from a giant eye, they cement their friendship in one simple glance.

When they both break the surface of the water, Ferald looks on as Numzi Plume graciously heads out to sea.

Birzy and Wormzy are not your typical good friends. You see, Birzy wants to find and eat a worm. But he doesn't quite know what a worm looks like. And Wormzy, he wants to avoid being eaten by a bird (a whippoorwill if you will), but he doesn't quite know what a bird looks like. These two go through life helping one another out whenever they can. If Birzy needs more sticks and twigs for his nest, Wormzy would be more than happy to gather some for him. If Wormzy needs to find a good mud hole to crawl into, Birzy would gladly spot one from above and let him know where it is. Their little adventures brings together two very different creatures in an unimaginable friendship. Fun is always at the forefront, togetherness is everlasting, in a mutual bond that cannot be broken.

The question is, if Birzy and Wormzy acually knew what they were, how do you think this would effect their friendship?

Sometimes, Ferald likes to discover something new and sometimes something new isn't found on land. I would say that this ferret is a pretty good swimmer, and that he enjoys venturing down into deep waters—where there are various creatures whom look nothing like himself. Ferald can see the turtles and the dolphins shimmering in the water from afar. He admires the various sea creatures, from the seahorse to the jellyfish. Perhaps he’ll make a friend or two down there. There are so many creatures swimming about, you can loose your way in a school of goldfish. The current takes you where it wants you to go. And all that you can do is hope for the best, that it takes you where you wanna go. However, it seems someone or something has its eyes on Ferald. This is his domain and he knows it well. This creature of tentacles and no fins, isn’t looking to make friends with land dwellers.

A thunderous growl echoes throughout Woodzley like a scream from a mountain peak. Ferald is baffled by which direction the familiar sound is coming from. But he knows all too well who's behind that growl. Ferald passes by a tall grove of bushes, each twig that he steps on has him jumping like a frog. He is on full alert, and he knows that Meany could be present around any tree and down any dirt road. There's a patch of arable land that seems clear of danger from his sight ahead. The sunlight hits Ferald's eyes, he shades them with his hand, he can barely see in front of him, as he lowers his head slightly. When he looks up his eyes meet Meany's--and then the chase is on!

Although Qwiby is small, his battles are nothing short of epic. Defending worlds against a massive ever growing creature named The Rot. His battles will save billions of lives if he is successful. If he can manage to force the creature back into a black-hole from which it escaped. Should it reach the waters of any planet, it will turn the liquid into a cesspool of pus. If he fails, this being's toxicity will turn water into poison and life into death. Even with everything at stake, there is a need within Qwiby to study the creature with whom he is fighting, he lives to study other beings--it's one of the reasons why life is so important to him.

Every so often, when Ferald is bored and lacking the attention that an upbeat and unruly ferret needs. He would scurry out of his hollow log house and into the night. He enjoyed pretending that he was sleepwalking to draw some attention to himself. It was Pozzum who usually followed a sleepwalking Ferald around, to make sure that he’s alright. With his arms stretched out in front of him, his eyes closed shut, he walked up and down over two small mounds and headed on his way. He followed a muddy path down by the river’s edge. He shuffled through the willow grove and onto the back of the sleeping turtle’s head. He marched under the hive of a bunch of grumpy bumblebees, he even walked around the grounds of Pozzum's favorite tree. Birzy, Kingston and Mr. Wiggly tried to wake Ferald up by yelling out his name. Hey Ferald! He just smiled, didn’t look back and ignored them all the same. When Ferald was pleased with all of the attention that he had just received. Ferald headed back home to his hollow log house , as a weary Pozzum followed behind him, she collapsed on his bed and fell asleep.

He descends down from the night's sky like a falling star. With him, he brings incalculable knowledge of the universe. His kind has studied millions of galaxies, billions of planets and trillions of various beings throughout their travels. His name is Qwiby, a bow-legged alien from the planet Fob-Wob. He alone blazes awesome celestial powers that are his to hurl, the spark of a supernova beats like a heart in his chest...and tonight...he has found his next being to study, Ferald.

There's a time when the creative spirit takes over, and you enter into a place where you want to get into yourself. Let ideas flows, and create something fanciful that only you can claim to be you own. For Ferald, this place lies just beyond a small willow grove. This isn't just any ol' place, it's set amid Woodzley's biggest waterfall. It is where creativity meets the soothing sound of nature's ever flowing water. This liquid of life serves as the backdrop to an even greater creative flow. Ferald brings along with him some crayons, a blank piece of paper and an imagination a mile long. He is upbeat and his happiness comes from the drawing that he sees before him. This is where he creates him own world. There is nowhere that he cannot go, nothing that he cannot do, he can become as unruly as he wants to be. Images collide, colors cascade...and we witness something that wasn't there before. His mind is a vast realm now, the crayon is his rocket-ship and the paper is his launching pad. Art is his next destination to anywhere he wants to go. Now he is ready to take off!

Her name is Mizz Ladybug, and the sea of sunflowers that stretches clear across an entire field, all belongs to her. She attends to and nurses every single sunflower on her arable land. She is the Queen and there is no King...this is where she rules. So what does this have to do with Ferald? Well, those sunflowers are the crunchy kind that Ferald likes to eat. Not to mention, he likes to play among them and lose himself within the sunflower patch like a maze. When he finally finds his way out, he usually takes a nap, the big sunflowers make for a very shady resting place. But what of Mizz Ladybug, she'll have none of this. No  eating, no frolicking...and no napping at all near her flowers. So what's a ferret to do, simple, chase her away until she stops nagging? But for now, let's sit back and watch Mizz Ladybug reprimand Ferald.

From afar, they look like the beautiful insects that we have come to know butterflies to be. Do not trust your eyesight just yet. For these butterflies had their legs plucked from them, doomed to forever flutter about and never land. When they tire...they cannot rest. When they are sleepy... they cannot sleep. They guard the flowers on their land, with the willingness to defend it like a small army. Leave it to Ferald to not only eat their sunflowers, but take a nap on their grassy arable land--not knowing what lies ahead for him.

One small step for Ferald, one giant fall for mammal kind. There's only one ferret whom I know, who has a knack for finding the most uncanny adventures. And in doing so, he has taken the term " go fly a kite " quite literally. At the edge of Woodzley, in the space in between ground and sky, an event is about to take place that will go awry. His friends out of sight will watch everything unfold before their eyes. Up high he will sail, pass the baffled pigeons he will fly, for the upbeat and unruly one is about to cry. With his pals on the ground, just standing around and thinking to themselves...is this the day that our fine ferret will finally perish. A gust of wind stops, a yellow fur bearer drops, into a body of water is where he stopped. So let us all rejoice and play, and put behind us this awful day...now that we can see that Ferald is okay.

The Bunnies are busy hopping all around and hiding their painted Easter Eggs all over Woodzley. Ferald is always excited about Easter, because he likes to get dressed up in his bunny suit, to go look for these hidden colorful eggs. It isn’t just being surrounded by bunnies that’s making Ferald smile from ear to ear. He has stumbled upon a very big and wonderful Easter Egg. Ferald shows it off to The Bunnies, they seem very interested in it, because they don’t remember hiding such a large egg. It’s a lot bigger than the eggs that The Bunnies are use to seeing. In fact, it’s the biggest egg any Bunny has ever seen. Ferald takes it home with him to his hollow log house. As soon he gets home, the egg begins to shake and jiggle, crack apart and wiggle. Something begins to break out of the shell, leaving Ferald baffled at what it could be—and out pops a smelly creature staring at him with orange eyes!
