I am Budd Weston, aka "Halfdan".

I was born and live in Australia within a leafy outer eastern suburb of the capital city of Melbourne in Victoria. I would best describe myelf as a creator, given i design and make in many varied fields. I was encouraged in art and creativity at an early age by my father, who was also an artistic person. I have followed simular pursuits ever since. Which include drawing & design , illustration. Along with painting in almost all mediums and sculpture in virtually any material i can lay my hands on! I design and make my own tools and equipment to undertake my projects, with inclusion of study to understand the materials & processes required. I place no limits and believe that in creation the same underlying principals apply, from there merely to master the properties of the material one is working with, plus its adventure of discovery..!  

Proffessionaly i worked as a community and public artist with the local municipality on large scale works for public landscapes and architecture spaces. This included murals pathways and sculptural projects, from conception to installation... And collaboration with other creative people!  This experience between 1987 and 2008 was of great inspiration to me! In conclusion my wish is to share the creative joy with all, and i hope you enjoy viewing my work..!
