Artist Biography
I was born in Brooklyn, New York and I have lived most of my life in Connecticut. I make trips to the Florida Keys often staying in Hallendale once to twice a year. I like the contrast to New England living, especially in winter. My interest with painting the sea never began at any one point. It was always there expressed in one medium or another and at any given age. Somethings are just simply - "there" -preinstalled from before I was born. My love of the sea is like that.
Along with my marine art is a portfolio of commercial art in varying mediums and subject matter. Clienetel include Trans-Lux, Raytheon, Mechanix Illustrated, Modern Photography and Turner Construction. Book publishers include, Simon and Schuster, Lion, Grolier, Bantam Doubleday Dell and Paramount.
Aside from mainstream name commercial clientele I have also been commisioned for portraiture and architectural mural.
