            Jar was born in Bangkok, Thailand and at the age of two, she went to live with her great grandmother in a southern town called “Ranong”. One day a plane flew over her village and all the children ran outside to see the unusual site. Jar asked her teacher where the plane was from and she was told, "It’s probably from the United States". Jar replied, "That’s where I want to live someday".

            Jar started painting "art on glass" over fifteen years ago in Thailand. With no formal art training she became well known in Bangkok as an original talent, working weekends in Mall's and at nights on commission and gifts for her friends and clients (in the shipping industry). Her largest commission was for #500 pieces for a friend wedding!

Now in America, Jar is fascinated with painting on canvas, cloth and leather (jeans, shirts, purses, coats, curtains, etc.). Her inspirations come from her love for Jazz music and client’s appreciation for her “one-of-a-kind” creations!
