I started painting late in life, but you know what they say it's never too late. I am a self taught artist and I have spent most of my life serving others in the form of nursing.  Now that I have retired I have awakened a love of drawing and painting. 

It is a daily struggle for me to find the information I need to learn.  But I love to paint the human figure and face.  I can spend hours trying to get just the right expression, just the right shadow.  I am far from perfect but each painting teaches me more.
