Often quoted as, Vox populi, vox dei "The voice of the people is the voice of God", is an old proverb often erroneously attributed to
William of Malmesbury in the twelfth century. This painting rendered in oil using impasto depicts the annulled election of June
12, 1994, where the Nigeria populace - Rich & poor, North & South,
Men & Women came out in an election and putting aside language barriers, status, ethnicity and spoke in one voice.
