I've never tried painting a horse before, but when I saw this, it reminded me of a spirited horse my best friend, Peggy, had when we were growing up. Just as I completed the painting, I received a call from Peggy's husband. He had devastating news: Peggy lost her battle with cancer. She had died the day I began the painting. This is dedicated to her. RIP Peggy.
