As an Iranian woman it's never been easy to break the taboo and questioning the old patriarchal culture and traditions.
This piece was inspired by another painting of mine which a woman is surrounded by an army of men in the center of the scene. Now she has become more reckless, braver, freer. Just like the woman inside me
