This is a very sturdy side table which I have altered by removing the central panels and replaced them with a cut glass mosaic design of a fish pond. There is an additional panel of glass covering the surface of the mosaic for a flat table top.

Ships In Bottles - Wood Thread Paper Paint Etc

Chesapeake Bay Skipjacks once frequented the Bay dredging for oysters under sail. Based on a general design, this skipjack is approx. 2.25 inches x 3.25 inches tall with a total length of bottle being just under 4.5 inches. She is the tiniest ship in bottle that I have constructed and is complete with her pushboat, cabins, hatches, railing, and complete rig.

Tonnant is a sqaure rigged, French privateer. She is placed in a blown bottle with three distorting ripples, though appealing, on the forward section of the bottle. Size: 4.75 in long x 3 in tall. She is complete with anchors, coils of line, capstains, barrel, railing, cannons, flag, and sails under full sail.

Valora is a scale reproduction ship, placed in a chemist bottle. Boat size is 5.5 in long x 4.5 in tall. This interesting clear, round bottle allows the viewer to observe the boat at any angle. Phoebus is a 3 tonneaux class, Swiss Sailboat that sails today on Lac Leman (Lake Geneva). She is inserted into a clear, 6 inch diameter globe which allows her to be viewed clearly from any angle. She is a scale, miniature reproduction, and her rigging and lines are set as if she were underway. The globe is secured to a wooden ring stand, detailed with a hemp line and does not distract from the boat itself. Beautiful!
