This small bush grows to around a meter, has narrow leaves and is usually found in sandy soils in open forest areas and has medicinal uses. The leaves were crushed and rubbed into the affected parts of the body to relieve aches and pains. After crushing they were also soaked in hot water and rubbed on the chest for cold and flu. Flowers are white, star-shaped, with sharp pointed petals.
