This is a depiction of a 1700s whaling boat being attacked by a Sperm Whale, with the intent to kill all the whalers. This one of a kind bronze sculpture was cast from my original wax carving. The foundry had me cut the wax up in multiple pieces to be cast with no guarantee it would even come out. It came out beautiful, but was very expensive to produce in bronze. I have many, many hours of carving in this one. I stopped counting when I hit 100. The approximate dimensions are 13.5" diameter and 9' tall. It is mounted on finished oak, with a name plate. My name is cast into the bronze with the 2016 date. One of a kind, no copies. $5000. firm
