Wooden hand carved fish created without patterns and part of the Living Waters Series. Painted in watercolors over hand drawn scales with metal acrylics added for an iridescent look. Most scales have been double rimmed. The fish has also been sealed in 9 coats of a high grade, high gloss marine varnish, (UV protectant) this will protect the colors against fading or damage over time regarless of where the fish is displayed. The Blue Gill #5 measures 17 inches in length, is
11-1/2inches wide and has a glass brown fish eye for a realistic look. Comes with a metal wire hanger with eye hocks located on the back for easy hanging on any wall inside or out. The fish is also numbered, dated, signed along with its name by wood burning on the backside.
