Inspiration in nature has been for thousands of years important to First Nations all around the world. Its signs, markings, designs and beauty inspired, educated and taught our Ancestors and their Elders with dreams designed by Spirits of our land and creatures which were and are living on the land and gave us the great honor and possibility to guard our lands and rewarded us in case our custodianship was with good intent and will.
This artwork resembles pathways in the life, for many not certain roads and ways that are designed by our less or more important decisions, that we are making and life journeys that we are attending. Its pathways as well as on this painting are connected in one, which is not ending nor starting as well as spirits within our bodies and footprints we are living even after we are long gone in the hearts of our loved ones or cries of our enemies.
