I painted Snowbird for a Spring Small Bird Show. We had just had a heavy snow, and I thought to myself: "If I was going to make a snowbird (rather than a snowman), what would it look like? and what would I use for wings, feathers, etc. I decided branches for wings, and nylon pastry basters for the crown of feathers, and of course, a carrot nose! Too funny!!
