My name is Jim Briscoe and I live near Whitchurch, which is on the North Shropshire border, where I have lived all my life (thus far). I have meddled with art since I was 17 after surviving a near fatal motorcycle accident , which left me with a paralysed right arm (I was right handed too DOH!), amongst other things. I endured a long convalescing period and wasn't able to do much so decided to try sketching and to cut a long story very short stuck with it and here I am today.

It is only during the last three years that I have taken my art more seriously, producing what you see now in my gallery. I have probably drawn around forty pictures and I hope one day I can make a living from them, fingers crossed!

My other interests include photography and woodcarving, but my biggest interest is music, blues being my favourite genre, my favourite band is Led Zeppelin and a play a little blues harmonica on the side.
