WIREWORKS SCULPTURE

The possibilities are almost endless.  Let your imagination be my inspiration.

Some years back I saw one of the annual Animation Awards Festival films.  One of these short films provided me with the inspiration to create these adorable wire sculptures which I made as gifts for some friends and family.  In no time, I was being asked to create a wide variety of themed pieces by people who had seen the 10 or 12  originals.  Everyone who sees these guys seems to want one or have one made as a very personalized and unique custom-made gift. 

I am now spreading my creative wings to several local galleries, restaurants and other venues.

Each piece has it's own unique character and range in size from desktop models and up.  I've even created a life-sized "self portrait" who holds a smaller figure in one hand and his needle-nose pliers in the other.  Most pieces are mounted onto wooden bases stained in various shades and a polyurethane finish.  Felt is glued to the bottom of each base to protect the surface where they will be displayed.

Some themes (such as the Love Collection and The Business Card Holders) have such universal appeal that I'm always twisting a bunch of them to keep up with the demand.  Other pieces are more abstract while still others represent a hobby, sport, or other activity which appeals to the buyer or gift giver.

Although I have created many similarly themed pieces, the nature of this art makes each piece unique to itself.  I invite your requests for commissioned pieces and offer a full guarantee.   If you don't love the finished piece, you won't be obligated to buy it.
