I started taking painting classes from grade school at age of 6, my art teacher said I have talent and always encoraged my to keep painting...... I graduated with an Art degree from The Art and Science School - Branch Campus of Beijing UniversityIn 1983. Then I became a magazine and book editor for about 8-9 years until came to the U.S.

I went to Queens College (and an another college) in New York to learn English for about 3-4 years.

In 1997 I was involved in a bad car accident and got hurt which changed my live forever, after a surgery and all kinds of treatment, I got much better...... 

I started painting especially professionlly from year 2000, first with acrylic for about a year, then I changed to oil color, I like to paint details of landcape, sometimes I pait portraits and still-life, all my painting are original, I have been doing oil paintings on and off since 2001...... 

I had exhibits in Bellmore, Long Beach, Wantagh, North Bellmore, Oceanside, Merrick, Massapequa, Rockville centre, Port Washington, Syosset libraries on Long Island NY from 2005-2011.

In 2012, my husband and I moved to Florida. 6 month later, my husband was found had a large brain tumor!!!  After the tumor was removed with part of his brain and partial skull ( his 6' tall brain surgeon said the tumor was as big as his fist!), my husband got a titanium plate permanently attached with his skull, he also followed by a stroke during medically induced coma post surgery...... he got memory problems, poor balance and other problems, sometimes he fell and broke his rib and wrist...... since the surgery our lives changed forever...... Besides those, from 2007-2015 my husband also had 3 different cancers( kidney, blader and skin cancers), he beated them all! My biggest hero!!! 

Because of the need to taking care of my husband 24/7/365, I couldn't do much painting for several years......
