Chung Tsz tells of his transformation into a butterfly in a dream.The dream was quite real that when he woke up he was confused whether he transformed into the butterfly or the butterfly be the incarnation of him.
The flower in the painting is a symbolic of the mystified state of mind of defining our identities.
The inscription on the painting has pointed out such flights of fancy arising from this contemplation.
